Our Fallen Men (There is HOPE)
Men are struggling just as much as women in relationships today. A lot of men have been raised in single parent households mainly with their mothers. Instead of taking out time to train the child up in Godly principles he's being raised around all these negative adversaries and what I call "hood principles". Hood principles simply means beliefs outside of Gods word.
A few examples:
*He watches his Mother be selfish putting ALL her needs before his so grows up with selfish ambition since no one teaches him the joy of sharing.
* He watches her put men before him so sex and using women becomes his escape.
*He watches her work work work her 9 to 5 and struggle. Not because she doesnt have enough but lack of money management skills. He refuses to end up that way and turns to fast money. No one showed him the essence behind higher education or the opportunities that lurk past the street corner in his hood if he just takes a chance.
*He hears and watches abuse and at the same time hear Mom call it Love. He grows up and uses his fist and rude words to express himself to women and calls it Love.
Its like men love and hate us at the same time. Since their real issues aren't being dealt with women are being labelled as "hoes" "babymamas" "girlfriends" and "one nighters." Are men today holding on to resentment towards their parents or some past hurt that needs forgiving and healing while using women as their doormats and punching bags? No more excuses!
But it's not just the men. Why are women today willing to stick around for the abuse? Willing to have meaningless sex with randoms or boyfriends of the moment? She's broken too! Broken people don't understand or see that the reason their attracting brokeness is because their out of order and in need of help too! Its easier to blame everyone else and point out their flaws than face our own truth but its the only way to truly heal. I hear men and women complain today that they attract these out of line dudes or chicks but honestly if your attracting such then its time to look in the mirror! Examine your truth! Are you carrying Mama issues,Daddy issues, unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, or hood principles? The double standard card is played out too. God doesn't give men a pass to sleep around and mistreat women that's one of those worldly "hood" principles that needs to be replaced with kingdom principles. A true man of good character doesn't engage in tearing down women no matter what the world says or if she is willing.
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. James 1:21
Its time to forgive so you can grow UP. Its time to break away from childhood and all past or present hurts. Its time to heal. No more abuse. No more excuses. Break the cycle don't join it.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.
