What's Your Valley?
The sermon today at church was entitled "walking in the valley" and the scripture was
Psalm 23:4
King James Version (KJV)
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
I knew the Lord was speaking right to me. But what's your valley? What's your struggle right now that you just can't seem to get past? Is it school, a relationship, job, a bad habit you can't break or maybe your working toward entrepreneurship.
Maybe you're single but feel that your ready for a relationship and God hasn't answered your prayers just yet. Maybe you feel a bit discouraged or think God has forgotten about u.
Maybe you have slipped away from God and desire to come back to him but feel he won't listen or maybe you feel your too far to even know God.
Today I want to relay a message to you. The devil is a big fat LIAR and God is in your midst even in your darkest "valley". Its time we change our perspective on our struggles.
We are all trying to reach "the top" "the mountaintop to hear God" but in order for us to reach the top we must endure the struggle (Your valley). The goal is NOT to stay stuck in your valley and wallow!
Don't surround yourself with people who throw you pity parties and always have negative things to say. Don't pick up a bad habit or return to an old habit maybe cigarettes or alcohol instead GET UP and KEEP PUSHING! Start praying more, link up with people who will ENCOURAGE and UPLIFT you, and don't forget to MOTIVATE YOURSELF.
I started journaling more when things begin to get really rough for me and writing out short prayers throughout my day to encourage myself.
I study and meditate on the word more instead of watching TV. What I've also realized is that my valley (struggle) can and does help other people .
Your struggle is your ministry!!! Your struggle is your ministry!!!
Remember that we are here to win souls to Christ and our dying world needs a Savior. Broken hearts need healing and lost souls need to be found and restored and its time to stand UP! Somebody near to you is in a deep dark valley and needs hope. Maybe God has healed and delivered you from the valley your neighbor is going through this is your time to Brag on Jesus and share your testimony and share a scripture you meditate on to get you through!
Right now if you're in that dark valley remember God is with you always. The Holy Spirit lives in you and God has equipped you for the struggle and all you have to do is keep Trusting, Praying, Be Patient, Keep Walking and before you know it you will be on Mountaintop screaming "Victory is won!"
So tell Satan, your critics, and fear to get behind you God got it!!
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 27:11
In order to get through it you must go through it! Don't give up!! Be encouraged!! God Bless.

Aw I am so so very proud of you Chanel well written and so on time! You keep right on doing what your doin for Gods kingdom that he can get the glory out of everything that you have been through
