It's Black History Month!!!!!
So it's black history month and everyone is posting quotes from African Americans who have paved the way. But my spirit is baffled and I ask myself, "In what ways are we making history today?" If you stare too long you may think that we're really passionate about "Black History Month" and celebrating one another. I challenge you to stick around until March or maybe even 9pm tonight. We will go back to degrading our women, hating one another, seeking attention in all the wrong ways, and even giving up our freedom for a simple bowl of soup. Not soup, but a like or comment on social media. Or maybe a pair of Jordan's, rent money, or a Michael Kors bags.. The question is raised again, "In what ways are you making history?"
