"Trouble with the light on"
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for is an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 Corinthians 4:17
Now you've dedicated your life to Christ. You've repented. You've chosen to transform and no longer conform to the pattern of this world. You stopped clubbing, drinking, being promiscuous, smoking, or etc....
The Holy Spirit is dwelling in you. So why are you still facing DAILY trouble????
I know you thought if you cut out all the immoral stuff things will change.. Isn't that what the preacher is screaming to me every Sunday????? Right??
WRONG!!!
No matter how much you change your "actions" trouble can't be avoided....
No matter how close or how far away you are from God TROUBLE can't be avoided...
John 16:33
"I have told you THESE things so that in me you may have peace ..." Jesus speaks to let us know that he has spoke to us and shared wisdom with us because, " in THIS world you will face TROUBLE but take heart I have overcome the world."
Daily you must choose to take heart even when you're facing trouble.
Trouble doesn't mean God has forgot about you.
Trouble doesn't mean it's punishment from God.
Trouble doesn't mean you're doing something wrong.
Trouble and LIGHT is working together to achieve an ETERNAL goal...
We've been taught very well on how to handle good and be good. We want everything to make us "happy." But God doesn't work that way and if you surrendered your life to Christ thinking ALL trouble will now be gone and life is only going to be filled with happy moments, I'm sorry to be the one to drop the ball.....
I want to challenge you, just because this moment isn't a happy one doesn't mean you can't rejoice.
Once again,
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for is an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 Corinthians 4:17
I feel like Paul needed to remind us that ALL things work together for good. In this text he also wants to remind us that God focus is on our eternal being and not for the moment...
Today you may not understand the trouble you face but keep the faith God is still at work...
His work is eternal while our focus is for the moment. We must pray and line up our faith with His word.
Anybody else experiencing some trouble with the light on?
Here lately I've been facing some troubles in my life. I've prayed. I've fasted. I've watched million sermons. I've praised him in the midst. Still I face many troubles. Last night God led me to 2 Corinthians 4:17 to remind me that even with my light on trouble will rise up for the moment. If you continue to verse 18 it says, "so we fix our eyes NOT on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is TEMPORARY, but what is UnSEEn is eternal."
God hasn't forgot about me neither has he forgot about you. This season is FAiTH season so continue to walk it out! Continue to let your light shine. Continue to lead even while you bleed!!!
Blessings and love peep!
