What's stopping you?!?!?!?!?!?!

Jesus asked the lame man by the pool 
"Do you want to get well?"

The man replied, " I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me." 

In John 5 Jesus visits a pool in Jerusalem called Bethesda where the blind, lame, and paralyzed stand waiting on someone to help them in the pool. In this story Jesus helps this crippled man who has been by the pool 38yrs waiting on help from someone. 

What's your pool? Is it the club,trap house, local bar, strip club, your couch, social media, church..... Where are you and your friends gathering waiting or just complaining about how you could be doing more ONLY IF........

This sounds so similar to what I hear people say all the time, " if only someone would help me. If only my "so called" friends would just be there for me instead of hate me. IF ONLY........ Your blessing is not based on who you know! Your next move is not based on who opens up the door for you!

Then Jesus said, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." At once the man was cured! 

GET UP! GET UP! GET UP! You don't need people you just need to believe!!! 


"Greater is he that is in YOU than he that is in the world." 1 John 4:4


Now what's your excuse?????? 

Let it go and trust God!!! Quit hanging out by the pool with your lame, blind, and paralyzed friends and get to work! The Kingdom of God needs you!! Go back to school, start the organization, buy the house, or whatever. But GET UP and WALK!!! God got you!!!!

In May 2011 I left the sex industry for good! Well so I thought. Even after leaving the industry I still found myself in broken relationships and chasing men. Looking for love in ALL the wrong places. In May 2012 I joined a local church and Jesus told me, " Chanel you don't need them. I have you. You may look as though your by yourself but I'm right here in the midst with you holding your right hand." 
 My what a journey I've been on! People always told me "without me you won't make it." Eventually I started believing it and my life went into shambles. Quickly. 

NOW I can boldly say. "I couldn't do nothing with you. But now I can do anything without you!!" Why? Because Jesus is on my team!!!!

 

Get UP!GET UP! GET UP!
